Vintage Burlesque Dancer, Model, Striptease artist: Rita Ravelle. Her dancing acts were Burlesque modified latin Folk dances (namely Mambo) in nature. Started dancing in Mexico and Puerto Rico, then graduated to Mexican Films, then the USO and finally the USA in Burlesque shows. Rita's lastname is sometimes spelled as Ravel and Ravelle. The Mexican Spitfire billing was used by others as well. Danced in W.B. Sutton's 'Side-Show' as the "Atomic Girl" (1956).
