Darlene Bennett ... "the Goddess of Underground Cinema."
Vintage Burlesque Actress and Dancer, Model: Darlene did some burlesque dancing and modeling in her early days and met Gigi Darlene whom she would become very close, but switched to acting rather quickly and made many films in the underground sexploitation film world of the 1960's ... by film directors such as Doris Wishman, Michael Findlay, Barry Mahon and Joseph Mawra films and many others (see below) beginning from 1963 until 1968 when she disappeared totally from the world of acting, maybe for the same reason as Bettie page or Gigi Darlene?.
Darlene was the twin sister (not identical) to Dawn Bennett and the two were in several films together. (sorry, I don't yet have a photo for her, so had to borrow from the net!)
