Boots Burns
Billed as: 'the Texas Cyclone'. Miss Burns was often performing at the 606 club and Casino (PA). Boots left burlesque for about 3 years working in a Naval Hospital in Norfolk, VA. during the war efforts and returned in 5/9/1942 at the 'Globe Theatre' with Burns and Allen. Appeared in 'Cairo, Nights of Burlesque' at the Howard (Boston) in 1942. Photo circa 1939.
