" Rock 'n' Roll vs. the Squares" |
--
Synopsis: A hastily produced movie to cash in on the rock 'n' roll craze of the 1950s. The plot is the standard R& R Film. A group of concerned adults try to ban rock and roll music in their town because they think that the music promotes juvenile delinquency. They watch the dancing on the local TV station's music show and are appalled at what they see so they form a committee to stop the dancing and the music, even if they have to go to Washington to do it before any more teens are corrupted in the rock 'n' roll frenzy!. Nelson (Mike Connors who starred in Mannix) needs to persuade these moral organizers that there's nothing wrong with Swingin' on the dance floor to the current tunes of the day.
* Plenty of Swing Dancing and Rock and Roll music. Features a dance contest and also shows some some historical footage of the roaring 20's Ragtime Jazz dancing as well. |
