Sensations of 1945 (aka Sensations)
" The Film Parade of the Year!"

Synopsis: Leggy Eleanor Powell is a conniving talent promoter in the stable of flamboyant publicist Gus Crane, whose wild and crazy promotions became legendary. Crane's strait-laced son 'Junior' doesn't want to be like his dad in the business, but when Junior (O'Keefe) takes over the business, he finds himself inadvertently filling the father's shoes. Will Powell fall for Junior? This is W.C Fields last film. Nominated for Oscar.

               * This film is packed with specialty dance numbers and vaudeville type acts and Eleanor Powell. Contains Powell's

now-famous Tap dance routine where she Tap dances her way inside a giant Pinball Machine to the accompaniment of Woody Herman's music. Also Circus Acts, a dancing horse, Juggling by the Johnson brothers, plus an amazing High-Wire act by Hubert Castle. Oh Yes, and some really tight Jitterbug dancing of course with Dean Collins and Jewel McGowen, Irene Thomas and others, some of the best I've seen in many clips.
