The Powers Girl (aka: Hello Beautiful)

-- Synopsis: This film shows Anne Shirley and Carole Landis at their best and is based on the John Robert Powers modeling agency and " the Powers Girls." In the film two sisters aspire to become high-profile models. Ellen Evans (Anne Shirley) sacrifices a potential windfall from a lawsuit to better the career of her sister Kay Evans (Carole Landis) who wants to become a Powers girl. The real " Powers Girls" roster notably included Grace Kelly, Lee Remick and Jennifer Jones.

* Good songs and dancing abound in this film. Features Dean Collins and Jewel McGowen dancing swing in the (fake) rain and even with Umbrella's as well as other swing dancers.
