-- Synopsis: Features an all African-American cast. This gritty crime drama is set in Harlem, N.Y. and centers on a blackface, vaudeville singer who aspires to be a Shakespearian actor. He suffers great tragedy after he accidentally witnesses a gangland hit. After a period of being down and out he gets a chance to play Othello. Does this gives him the opportunity to fulfill his dreams?. Also has a couple of cameo's of Mamie Smith as a singer and actress.

* Have seen a few clips of this film and it does have some swing and blues musical numbers.
