There
are three modes in which to play this game, Single Player
(offline), One Campaign or various Custom Games, and
Online (Multi Players).
In the Single Player Campiagn
setting, your Heros keep all their Statistics with each
new quest, during the 'Custom Games', they start over
each time which can be a drag.
You
can choose what race to be ie: Human, Orc, Elf etc.
and some of the Stages are easy and some can take days
to figure out, even with the included strategy guides
help they can still be difficult.
The
basic theme is you start with nothing but some workers
who start to build your camp, harvest gold, lumber etc.
As you build your lumber mines, shops, Blacksmith, warriors,
upgrades, learn new spells etc. you get attacked and
have to defend your base. Once you think your strong
enuff (or run out of Gold) you embark on becoming the
attacker, finding and building more gold mines, looking
for secret passages to get special powers etc.
The
game has many twist and turns with different plots on
each quest. Overall this is a great set to have.
