If you haven't played the Final Fantasy X before playing Final Fantasy X-2, then go out and play and beat Final Fantasy X. This will save a lot of moronic reviews from people who are bashing this game because Tidus isn't here or other characters being absent. These people obviously haven't played the first of these two titles and have no business bashing a plot they know nothing about.

Now for the review.. Overall this is a great game in my opinion. A lot of new features such as dresspheres and garment grids are used. This game also features the return of the Active Time Battle system you may remember from Final Fantasy 7. Another feature never before seen in a Final Fantasy is the introduction of completion percentage. Depending on how you play the game and how much of the story you uncover, you gain completion percentage. Your completion percentage, and whether you talked to a certain old man in Chapter 3 and heard a certain whistle in the Farplane determines which ending you can gain. Overall this is a strong plot. If you just fly through the game and don't bother doing side quests, you will get a very simple plot. However by doing some detective work you can gain a multiple layered plot.
