  Learning how to dance is like learning another language, except that this language is spoken with your body and printed in music. If you really don't know the correct language it can be really hard to communicate with another person physically. Many teachers know the basic WCS language but Sonny helped write the book. These classes will help you learn that communication. If your new and starting from scratch you may be confused at first but each week you will become better and better and suddenly your a West Coast Swing dancer.

Wednesdays
Weekly Open West Coast Swing Dance Lessons !

   NOTE: Weekly Beginning Class starts on the 'First Wednesday of every Month', ( ) ... No Pre-registration taken but you can really start any week. Regular Intermediate level must have skill in the Basic Whip, Tuck turn and French Cross. (No Class Christmas or New Years Weeks.)

Beginning West Coast Swing Dance Lessons .....

Day:

  Every Wednesday (except Xmas and New Years Weeks)

Start Date:

  First Wednesday of the Month

Class Length:

  Weekly (four, sometimes five lessons during a month)

Class Time:

  7:00-8:30 PM.

What you will learn in only four (4) weeks time ...............

    The Ladies French Cross, Starter Basic, Preparatory Basic, Throw-Out, Under Arm Pass, Ladies Dbl. Inside Spin, Under Arm Pass w/ a Hand Change, Side Passes, Sugar Pushes (2), Push Break, Two Hand Tuck Turn, Whips (basic, inside and outside), Contemporary (&3) and Traditional (3&) Timings plus Great Technique, Great Style and the correct Lead and Follow skills.

Intermediate I & II West Coast Swing Lessons .....

  Every Wednesday (except Xmas and New Years Weeks)

  8:30-9:00 PM   (WCS Dancing starts shortly after 9pm: [Club Dance!]

  Class Cost: $8.00 Cover. (sorry, 18 years and up only.)

If You're Really Interested in Improving Your WCS, These Series Are For You.

These series cover material from Beyond the Basics, thru mid Intermediate Level as well as Technique,
Music, Theories that are not covered in a regular "open to the public" (called drop in classes) dance lessons.
6 week Series Classes ... Partner NOT required as all classes rotate partners. More info to come.

6 Week MASTER WCS Series Info

Day:

Every Sunday (except 'major' Holiday weekends.)

Start Date:

January, 3rd, 2010

Class Length:

2 Hour Class, 6 weeks total

Class Time:

2:15 - 4:15 (there is a short break in between hours.)

Series Cost:

$70.00 per series or $13 per class.

"Hustle 6 Week Series"
We will hold a 6 week - 2 hr. Beg./Int. level Hustle series on Sundays when the above WCS Master series ends in August. If your interested in how to do the Hustle, Let us know, and we will put you on the reminder list or watch this page for actual date as we near the end of summer.
(This class only happens once a year as we conclude our yearly WCS series above, You won't want to miss it.)
