of his initials) was a Russian born artist whose real
name was Romain de Tirtoff [1892-1990] started his career
in 1912 and whose extraordinary fashion creations were amazing.
Designed many costumes for the stage and screen. Many of
his drawings have been recreated into wonderful dance posters.
