The
Peek A Boo Dance was a type of Burlesque
dance, circa: 1940s. Sometimes pictures say more than words so
I supplied the four pictures on the left of this page. Looks
as if it is a tease type dance where the ladies show and remove
their under-garments to music. Then hold them over their eyes,
moving the articles of clothing back and forth, then lowering
them and saying "Peek-A-Boo".
When
I find more info on this dance I will add it.

they're sneaking out the back door
she gets up from all fours,
rhinestone fools & silver dollars
curdle into bitter tears,
