Not very Money,
Baby!. A much hyped, pre-thought
to be a Neo-Swing movie that was a big dance flop. The only
dance scene is at the end of the film, but was filmed at the
Derby Nightclub in Los Angeles, California. The plot was about
a guy who was not getting over a relationship and his loser
friends try to get him back into the scene, finally at the
end (at the Derby of course) he kinda gets back to
normal... Wait to see it on TV.
However, the poster is 'the Money' for any kind of swing dance
/ Lindy Hop fan. It Gets 10 stars just for the Derby, dancers,
the soundtrack and BBVD, but overall the movie really rates
a 1. |
