Set in 1927, Lena (Jean Hagen)
and Don (Kelly) were aspiring dancers who made it big
when a musical they were doing became a movie, however, Lena's
voice is not what the public finds attractive so some dubbing
is needed but Don falls for the Dubbing Girl (Debbie Reynolds).
There are some great dancers / dancing and Diki Lerner and
Sylvia Lewis do a Tango to Nacio Herb Brown's tango song "Temptation." |
