| Synopsis:
Cheesy 1960's setting, when teen age dance programs were
all the rage. A 'pleasantly plump' teenager (Rickie Lake)
was always dreaming of dancing on a corny local TV dance
show. When she fimally lands a spot on the show and starts
Strutting her stuff in front of the cameras, she teaches
1962 Baltimore a thing or two about integration. Remade
on the Broadway stage in 2002.
