Based on the Fosse play and older original 1942 movie entitled
'Roxy Hart' which featured
Ginger Rogers.
Film is set during the 1920s and stars Renée Zellweger
as Roxie Hart, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Velma Kelly, Richard
Gere as Lawyer Billy Flynn, Lucy Liu as Kitty Baxter and
Queen Latifah as prison matron 'Mama' Morton. Some good
dance scenes and one exceptional scene called 'Cell Block
Tango' sung by Mya. This film recieved six Oscars and the
best picture award in 2002.
