Constance Mackenzie ... "Ziegfeld Girl," "The Perfect Chorus Girl"

Constance was the daughter to a champion Bagpipe player from Scotland who moved to the USA after his win in 1909. He became a champion Pro-Golfer here in the states as well. When Constance was a little girl, she learned how to dance to her fathers bagpipe¹. Newspapers voted her the "Most Serious Chorus Girl" in the business. She had one brother and two sisters (Alice, Ronald, Constance, Jean). In her census, her occupation at age 20 was a 'Theatre Dancer'.

Appears to have moved to California after her marriage to Galladet. Constance died in Orange County California in 1991. She is interred at Pacific View Memorial Park, Corona del Mar, Orange County, California, USA.
