Grisi's cousin,
'Giulia
Grisi.'

Mario and Grisi's personal relationship lasted until her
death in 1869, but they were said to never be able to
marry. the two had
a daughter, Mrs. Godfrey Pearce.Mario
retired from the Stage in 1871.
