Robert Woolsey Robert Woolsey

     Robert Woolsey was part of the very successful "Wheeler, Woolsey and Lee" comedy vaudeville act. They helped popularize the "Cakewalk" by including the dance in many Broadway type plays. ( Similar to Williams and Walker.) Woolsey married Reed who was a accomplished "Eccentric" dancer. Bert Wheeler married dancer Betty grae and they were called Bert and Betty Wheeler.
