Long-legged dancer/ actress from Richmond, Virginia. Started
dancing on Broadway in the chorus. She made her film debut
in Hitchcock's 1955 film, 'the Trouble with Harry'. Shirley
won a Oscar in 'Terms of Endearment' in 1983. Shirley is
an author of a few books as well as being Warren Beatty's
sister.

She was able to dance in Cole Porter's 1960 movie entitled
'the Can-Can', where she does the Can Can dance as well
as the infamous Apache
dance and in another film was able to dance with Gene
Kelly in 1964's "What a Way to Go"
as well as in 1969 danced in Bob Fosse's 'Sweet Charity'.
