    American Dancer and Actor. Was a favorite during the height of the tap dance craze in the 1920s that was dominating the stage in Vaudeville, Burlesque and Broadway and later films of that time. He was a tap dancer that did other Collegiate dances of the day.     Hal Le Roy's first professional job was in "Hoboken Heroes" at the Lyric Theater, Hoboken, New Jersey, in 1928. He made his screen debut in the 1932 RKO film "Is My Face Red"     Danced a Jitterbug with Betty Hutton in Public Jitterbug #1 (Vitaphone Short, AKA: Newsreel.) Was friends with legendary tap dancer Bill 'Bojangles' Robinson. Died at the age of 71 after heart surgery.
