    Daughter's to a Civil War legend. The Fairbanks Twins were a sister tandem act. Started in Vaudeville and moved to Broadway performing in many plays. Later they would join the movies.     They were also known as the Thanhouser Twins when they joined Thanhouser Films in 1912-1916 as well as being called the Flying Twins. It is said the only way to tell the twins apart is one had a birth mark. They had a brother named Robert Fairbanks.
