Bob Fosse was a extremly talented
choreographer, dancer and actor who was born into a vaudeville
family. By age 13 he was already touring with his own dance act,
called The Riff Brothers and by age fifthteen would already be
doing choreography. As an adult he would do a stint in the Navy
and upon his release would take up acting as well as continue
his dancing. In 1948 he would appear in the chorus of 'Call Me
Mister'. Finally ending up in Hollywood, he would do a few films
including 'Kiss Me Kate' in 1958.
Fosse's style consisted of: Tap,
Jazz, Ballet and Modern dance. By 1973 he recieved three Emmy
Awards. Fosse's choreography was energetic, sexy, cool and clean.
