-Danny (Kaye) Kolbin as one of his original broadway
billings "Highlights & Shadows" in
1937 called him was a sensational Singer, Comic, Mime, Actor
and excellent comic Dancer. He starred in many Films and
danced with many dancers. Homed his craft in the Catskills
in NY. After the Catskills, Kaye joined the dancing act
of Dave Harvey and Kathleen Young in 1933. It has been said
that on opening night he lost his balance and fell and the
audience loved it, he would later incorporate this many
times into his acts.
-Kaye made his Broadway debut in a play
called "Straw Hat Revue" in 1939 with Imogene
Coca and later in 1937 broke into Films but 1944 would be
the the film "Up In Arms" which made him a star.
