In the 1930's The Cotton Club
Boys were the Cotton Clubs stock class act dance troupe. Meaning
they were put together for the Cotton Club and would dance in
unison, gracefully doing exactly the same thing in unison, in
great looking clothes. Originally six male dancers increased to
ten who excelled at drill formations.
Charles
"Cholly" Atkins would join this group and do some
of the choreography. Later, came the "Cotton Club Girls."
