Ruthanna Boris was a successful English Ballet,
Spanish Dancer, Choreographer, Costume Designer and Performer.
Performed in 1935 Broadway Musical 'Alma Mater' with Tamara Geva,
Eugene Loring, Annabelle Lyon and George Balanchine as choreographer.
In 1937 performed along with Paul Haakon in
'Hooray for What'. |
| In 1943 Ruthanna and Alexis Dolinoff choreographed
'The Student Prince' which featured the famous but aging Ann
Pennington. 1956 had Ruthanna Boris doing the choreography for
'Le Jazz Hot' and 'Pasticcio' (plus designing those costumes)
and 'Roundelay', 'The Comedians', 'Cirque de deux' and 'The Wanderling'.
In her later years Ruthanna has undergone' Hip Replacement Surgery'
three times and still danced. |
