Betty took lessons at Clark's Dancing school at a very early age.
She studied Tap and Ballet into her teens and moved to Hollywood
in 1929. She landed her first role at the age of 13 as a 'Happy
Days' chorus girl in 1929 . Before turning 18, Betty landed a
few small movie parts then finally signed up with RKO Pictures.

Betty would become one of the most famous
and loved Hollywood
Pin-Up girls during W.W.II as well as the highest paid movie
star in the United States. Betty's Legs were even insured for
the measly sum of a million dollars. Betty Grable was an avid
fan of Swing and Latin dancing which was popular during WWII and
had made the most famous G.I. Pin-up during this time.
On July 2, 1973, Betty Grable died of
lung cancer in Santa Monica, California. She was 56 years old.
