"King of Brooklyn"  
    Raised in Brooklyn as an adopted child. Beloved Broadway and Cabaret dancer /Actor /Singer has danced in numerous Broadway, Plays, Clubs and many television programs as well as numerous Films. His first real gig was in the off-broadway play "The Prodigal Son" in 1968. Will be most memorable in the films about Fosse entitled "All That Jazz" and T.V. series "Roots."

    Graduated from the New York's High School of the Performing Arts. Mr. Vereen has many credits to his name including the 1978 American Guild of Variety Artists "Entertainer of the Year and Song and Dace Star" and a Tony Awards for his role in Pippin and Jesus Christ Superstar plus numerous others.  

   Mr. Vereen has danced / Performed in Atlantic City, Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, and Reno Stages as well as many Stages internationally such as the London Palladium. Vereen is the godfather of R&B superstar "Usher" (Raymond).
