Her mother was a star theatrical entertainer
and father was a theatrical manager. Daniels started her career
as a child and was a product of the Jazz age. She was the infamous
flapper that most men of the day feared and loved in many of her
movies.
Started her movie career with the "Selig
Company," and later moved to the "Hal Roach's studios"
in 1915 at the age of fourteen and by 1919 would be working at
the Paramount Studios.
During her stay at Roach's studio she
would make over 200 short subject silent films such as the 'Lonesome
Luke' series and would become comedian Harold Lloyds leading lady
in many of his Films. Bebe made the transition from Silent's to
Talkies without a hitch. |
