Burlesque Striptease Artist Princess DoMay. Also billed as "Princess Domain" as well. She was the daughter of an Irish immigrant father and a native American (Cherokee) mother. Her father was Irish and her mother was Cherokee. Her first stage appearance was in 1948 at the Mayfair Theatre in Ohio as a chorus dancer. Was managed by her husband the first part of her career.
Miss DoMay used American Indian themes and props, Chief feather Headdress, Bow and Arrows, Head Bands, Totem Poles, Moccasins, Peace Pipe, Indian Heads, Indian Drums etc. in her acts. One of her acts was titled 'Domay's All Star Indian Love Call Revue'. Had a custom Cadillac that was painted as an Indian Blanket. Posed for Garbo and Seymour.
