Bertica Serrano ... "Shakes Like a Pepper Shaker"

Vintage Risque Dancer, Singer: Started in the mid 1940's as a 'Risqué' dancer and singer who did some peeling down to a bra and semi G-String¹. As the 1950's approached and Latin music was becoming more popular her acts and voice became better so onwards to more singing and dancing and lite peeling especially with the Eddie Le Baron orchestra (Learning to Speak English and Corte Tubo w/ Eddie LeBaron).

She fused the Latin rhythms (Mambo and Cha Cha) and steps with the Shimmy dance. Rolando Garcia (The Rumberito) began dancing with Bertica in the cabaret Pharaoh. Danced in Holtz's 'Merry-Go-Round' revue in 1951² at the Belmont Theatre in Hollywood, CA.
