Synopsis: Walt Disney goes South
American in this musical Technicolor feature. New characters such
as "Pedro the Airplane" and a parrot named "Jose
'Joe' Carioca." The Disney staff tours South America and
draws their experiances as they travel in four sections:
1) "Lake Titicaca" Donald Duck has some troubles with
a stubborn llama;
2) "Pedro" A little mail plane's adventures flying over
the treacherous Andes;
3) "El Gaucho Goofy" transplants an American cowboy
into the Argentine pampas;
4) "Aquarela do Brasil," Jose "Joe" Carioca
shows Donald the sights and sounds of Rio de Janiero. Joe Carioca
went on with other Disney films including the better planned sequel
the Three Caballeros.
