The Powers Girl
The Powers Girl (aka: Hello Beautiful)

-- Synopsis: This film shows Anne Shirley and Carole Landis at their best and is based on the John Robert Powers modeling agency and "the Powers Girls." In the film two sisters aspire to become high-profile models. Ellen Evans (Anne Shirley) sacrifices a potential windfall from a lawsuit to better the career of her sister Kay Evans (Carole Landis) who wants to become a Powers girl. The real "Powers Girls" roster notably included Grace Kelly, Lee Remick and Jennifer Jones.

* Good songs and dancing abound in this film. Features Dean Collins and Jewel McGowen dancing swing in the (fake) rain and even with Umbrella's as well as other swing dancers.
