Manhattan Merry Go Round
Manhattan Merry-Go-Round (aka: Manhattan Music Box)

-- Synopsis: Gangsters take control of a record company and use toughguy tactics with any unwilling acts. The crooked record producer manage to round up some interesting "guest stars" to perform for their record company, including Cab Calloway, Louis Prima, Gene Autry and cowboy comedian Max Terhune and even kidnap Joe DiMaggio. Film's Art Direction was nominated for Oscar.

* Typical song and dance film interwoven around a little plot with the exception of the Whitey's Lindy Hoppers performing their famous Lindy Hop routine in this film. Ballet star Tamara Geva plays Madame Charlizzini.
