Synopsis: A light romantic comedy.
Cary Grant plays
Tom Winters, a
lawyer for the State Dept. His estranged wife is suddenly killed
in an auto accident leaving him with three children to raise.
The four move into Grant's small apartment where everyone becomes
miserable. Sophia Loren plays
Cinzia Zaccardi who is the not so trained
Nanny/ Maid except she's not really a maid but the cultured daughter
of a famous musician. Thru a series of events the family finds
themselves homeless and unrealistically can't find anywhere to
live so they wind up as a wealthy but dilapidated family on a
rundown houseboat on the Potomac river in Washington, DC. Nominated
for 2 Oscars.

features Gil and Nikki Brady
and others doing some Jitterbug
