Daring to Live... Daring to Love! |

Synopsis: An extremely dated 1950's
Tight-Sweater-Wearing, Drag Racing Teenage youth gone wrong cult-flick
that populated the drive-ins in the 1950's. Singer Dick Contino
stars as Daddy-O, as Phil Sandifer, who loses it all in a drag
race and the death of his buddy which he thinks Jana (Giles) is
the cause of it all. He is soon approached by a shady but polite
fat man named Greenstreet (Vesota) who owns a club called the
High Note to work for him entertaining his young Rock and Roll
guests. Contino does learn that VeSota was in fact responsible
for his buddy's untimely demise. So he sets out to nail VeSota
and his henchman.

As for dancing, very little is done, but for Swing dance fans
this film features Gil
and Nicky Brady
whose California style swing dancing was outstanding in their
day. It also features large breasted Swing Dancer and actress
Sandra
Giles
as Jana in one of the few movies she made. The beautiful and lovely
Sandra was supposedly the studio's answer to Jane Mansfield but
Sandra couldn't act, never-the-less, if you know Sandra it's really
fun to watch her do her stuff as the B"ad Girl."
