| Attack
of the 50 Ft. Woman (aka: the Astounding
Giant Woman) |
--
Synopsis: She will tear up the whole
town until she finds Harry, and then she'll tear up Harry. Heiress
Nancy Archer (Allison Hayes) is driving around in the California
desert on Route 66 when a satellite crashes to earth and she has
an encounter with a giant. As for her husband, Harry (William
Hudson), he is too busy paying attention to that cheap tramp Honey
Parker (Yvette Vickers). Nancy is again abducted by the giant
radioactive alien and when she comes back to town she is now 50'
tall and in a cloth bikini no less and ready to go on the attack
with Harry as her prime target. Bargain basement sci-fi, easily
one of the worst flicks of the genre which makes this cult/camp
film so enjoyable.

Some Jitterbugs scenes in this film with Darlene Lind and Frank
Chase. If you're a dance film collector or historian or you like
campy films, this film is good, if you're getting it to watch
the dancing, pass it up. |
