This page mainly deals with the original main group called "Pan's People. Pans people formed on December 1968. They were a UK based Pop/Disco/Rock weekly Television show ... such as the UK's "Top of the Pops" and an all girl dance group. Originally led by Ruth and consisted of 6 girls. They group un-officially started when a previous group formed called the Beat-Girls, Then came the Go-Jo's which consisted of the three founding members of Pans People. The Beat-Girls disbanded and Flick, Babs and Ruth founded "Pan's People. After eight years of performing weekly they wanted to quit dancing and form families or get married

    Their last performance was on March 29, 1976 dancing to Four Seasons 'Silver Star'. After they retired they were replaced by "Ruby Flipper" then "Legs and Co. Leg's and Co." (1976 until 1981) went on another five years and were directed by Ruth and Flick. Later Flick directed "Zoo" a twenty person male and female group which continued on "Top of the Pops till Top of the pops cancelled dance groups on the show.

    Flick Colby, the groups main choreographer returned to New York (Flick passed away in 2011), Babs stayed in London and married Robert Powell, Louise got married and stayed in London, Ruth quit the entertainment business after Legs and Co. and worked as a secretary in London, DeeDee stayed in London and married ... opening a dance studio, Cherry stayed in London as well dancing on Ruby Flipper and Legs and Co. Later did acting and voice overs.
